Peter M. Prendergast MD

Biography:

Dr Peter Prendergast is a renowned cosmetic doctor and surgeon who has established several aesthetic medical clinics across Ireland and the UK. He has trained hundreds of doctors all over the world in injectable and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures and is regarded as a leading authority in aesthetic medicine.  Dr Prendergast is a founder member of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, British Association of Cosmetic Doctors, International Society of Lipolysis Therapy and numerous other international societies. He is a pioneer in scarless thread lift techniques, third-generation ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty, non-surgical body contouring and combination approaches to facial volumising and rejuvenation. Dr Prendergast is a co-author of the Postgraduate Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine at the University of Leicester in the UK, the first University affiliated Diploma of its kind. He is the Irish representative for Standards in Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine Services at the European Committee for Standardisation in Brussels.  Dr Prendergast has authored over 20 book chapters in anatomy, facial rejuvenation, and body contouring techniques and edited one of the only comprehensive textbooks in aesthetic medicine, Aesthetic Medicine.
