Biography:

Dr Khunger is a consultant dermatologist and Associate Professor at V.M. Medical College, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, India, one of the largest hospitals in Asia. She is a member of the taskforce for preparing guidelines for dermatosurgery and author of the national guidelines on chemical peels, acne surgery, and sclerotherapy. Dr Khunger is author of the medical textbook Step by Step Chemical Peels, published by McGraw-Hill, USA, and has written several chapters on vitiligo surgery, chemical peels, scar revision and dermabrasion techniques. She is also editor of the official Bulletin on Dermatosurgery ACSIPEN and co-author of Practical Manual of Cosmetic Dermatology and Surgery. Dr Khunger has published extensively in national and international journals. She has received numerous awards and obtained first place in her university MD examination. She is a regular guest lecturer at conferences worldwide. Dr Khunger is the former President of the Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India and is the Course Coordinator of the fellowship training in dermatosurgery at V.M. Medical College and Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi.
