Maurizio Viel MD

Biography:

Dr Maurizio Viel is recognised all over the world as a pioneer in cosmetic surgery.  He studied in Milan for 11 years to become a specialist in facial surgery and practised in Italy for six years before setting up his famous Harley Street clinic in London in 1990.  In the UK alone, Dr Viel has pioneered facial rejuvenation procedures, ultrasound liposculpture, and penoplasty.  He has researched and developed a range of cosmeceuticals representing a revolutionary breakthrough in anti-ageing skin care, and authored  “The Viel’s Beauty Bible”, a leading book on aesthetic medical and surgical procedures for patients and doctors.  Dr Viel is an accredited trainer for several products, technologies and devices, including hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxins and VASER lipoplasty and uses his vast experience, knowledge and skill as a cosmetic surgeon to inspire doctors at courses held all over the world.  Dr Maurizio Viel is a founding member of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine.  He has secured fellowships and memberships with many professional bodies in both Europe and the United States.  His eminence has resulted in frequent calls to address International Congresses on a wide variety of topics.
