ECAM Course Structure
The European College of Aesthetic Medicine offers Certification in Aesthetic Medicine (Basic) and Certification in Aesthetic Medicine (Advanced) courses. In addition to these examination courses, ECAM hold regular Master Courses in focused areas of aesthetic medicine such as minimally invasive body contouring, breast enhancement and face lifting.
The Certification in Aesthetic Medicine (Basic) course is essential for all practitioners of aesthetic medicine and doctors interested to commence the practice of aesthetic medicine, or improve their current skills. This course covers, in detail, the most important and commonly performed procedures including botulinum toxins, soft tissue fillers, lasers, and chemical skin peels. The emphasis is on practical demonstrations and hands-on training whilst learning from the leaders. Completion leads to the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine with the European College of Aesthetic Medicine, and the opportunity to pursue the Certification in Aesthetic Medicine (Advanced) course. The ECAM Certification in Aesthetic Medicine (Advanced) course is more comprehensive and specialised and covers all areas of aesthetic medicine, including anaesthesia in aesthetic medicine, laser skin resurfacing, advanced uses of botulinum toxin and fillers, non-surgical breast enhancement, cellulite, sclerotherapy, and business success. Doctors who attend the advanced course are confident in incorporating all techniques learned during the course into their own practices. Candidates who successfully complete the advanced course are awarded the prestigious Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (Advanced) with the European College of Aesthetic Medicine. Candidates are then encouraged to pursue Master Courses in Aesthetic Medicine to further their practical skills and knowledge. [Certification (Advanced) details ].
