Fellowship

 

A Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine from the European College of Aesthetic Medicine is awarded to those who have completed comprehensive training in core and advanced training modules and are successful in the Fellowship examinations.  Graduates are also awarded the prestigious Fellow of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine (FECAM).

Fellowship requirements:

1.    Completion of three of Core Modules 1,2,3,4, and 5 (must include Module 5)
2.    Completion of two of Advanced Modules 6,7,8, 9, and 10
3.    Completion of two of Advanced Modules 11,12, 13, 14, and 15
4.    Successful completion of Fellowship examinations
5.    Membership of European College of Aesthetic Medicine

Prospective candidates are also obliged to provide the following:


1.    Evidence of registration with candidates Medical Council
2.    Letter/Certificate of Good Standing with candidates Medical Council or appropriate body

Fellowship Examinations


Following completion of the required Core and Advanced Modules, candidates are eligible to apply for the Fellowship examination.  The examination has written and oral parts as follows:
1.    Submission of nine case studies in aesthetic medicine
2.    Two-hour written examination (multiple-choice format)
3.    Viva examination with senior ECAM faculty
